Global Rescue will be providing mandated travel risk, crisis management, response and evacuation services to travelers in various Caribbean locations. These services include field rescue, medical support and logistics, evacuations and repatriations and risk mitigation, processing and remediation of CV-19 positive travelers. Global Rescue will be establishing operations centers in the region to support active and ongoing cases. The operations centers will be operated by emergency medical technicians, nurses, doctors and certain security, law enforcement and intelligence specialists to provide required crisis management, response, medical and security services.

Global Rescue is seeking a diligent and highly motivated Physician to support the day to day operations of a busy operations center. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit, drive and work ethic; and is willing to “do what it takes” to get the job done. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking and able to multi-task. You need to be technologically adept, able to learn and integrate new information quickly, and flexible and creative in thought process and problem-solving.

Location: Montego Bay, Jamaica

Compensation: Based on experience + incentive + benefits

Qualifications

MD looking to expand beyond clinical experience;
Medical Doctor with at least 5 years of experience in emergency or internal medicine;
Active Jamaica medical license in good standing;
Comfortable in an entrepreneurial office environment with non-traditional schedule;
Exceptional written and verbal communication;
Exacting attention to detail and follow-through;
Strong management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Provide medical advice and assist with implementation of all elements of GR response plans
Provide liaison function both internally, with leadership and other departments, and externally, with clients, vendors, hospitals, and other organizations
Evaluate and monitor COVID -19 prevention requirement implementation in tourism sector and other travel related sites
Integrate into Global Rescue’s other global operations centers, represent Global Rescue at the highest levels
Follow, maintain and improve protocol, process, policies and quality standards for member response and transport
Develop, implement, and manage training programs to maintain operational response readiness
Travel domestically and internationally supporting current operations and business development
